Tough grooming at Culinary Institute of India
Little did I know in 1998 that I would be taking a leap into my career. In 14 years I was at the helm of affairs of the Hospitality Industry and during Covid I was still one of the Busiest Managers with my hands full. Thanks to the tough grooming of Culinary Institute of India. I never felt the pinch of hard work. It came so easy to me with smart thinking and the discipline ingrained into me. Even today I turn for advice to our Guru Chef Rakesh. Culinary Institute of India is a big family and it spreads across the globe.
Basics of Managerial traits
Reflecting back on my career I could feel that Culinary institute of India imparted into me the very basics of managerial traits as one of the best hotel management college could do. I was advised throughout by my Alma mater. I kept building on my managerial traits and today I have reached a position of career defining, decision making position where I can be as versatile and creative as I can choose. Thanks to our Director & Chef Rakesh whose in depth understanding of each student helped them become excellent individual.
Tamed at the Gurukul
My Career was defined at Culinary Institute of India... in 2003-04. Those were the days I used to be wild & carefree. I was tamed at the Gurukul called Culinary Institute of India. I felt my energy channelized into constructive thinking.I have not looked back since then. The mental toughness and the competitive edge that Gurukul gave me has remained the backbone of my success till today.
Covid pandemic gave me time to rejuvanate
My journey began in 2015 from Hotel Ambassador Ajanta as kitchen trainee. The international level skill was developed in the hotel Novotel Bangalore. The spirit of discipline, eye for details and the work ethics drilled into me at Culinary Institute of India during my student days brought me quick success. The break during Covid pandemic gave me time to rejuvanate and immidiately thereafter I am back at my professional best - doing what I do best- back at cruise liner.
